నిరంతరం సాగే ప్రస్థానం
అలవాటైన దారిలోనే పయనం
ముళ్ళు తెలుసు, రాళ్ళు తెలుసు,
వాటిని తప్పించుకుంటూ
అడుగేయడం తెలుసు

ముందు నుయ్యి, వెనుక గొయ్యి
నాకెంత మాత్రం చిక్కు సమస్య కాదు
వెనుక గొయ్యికే నా ప్రాధాన్యం
చచ్చే వరకు ఊపిరి తీసుకోవచ్చు
నూతిలో ఆ అవకాశం కూడా కరువే!!

కానీ అప్పుడప్పుడు
దాని మాటలు నాకు వినాలనిపిస్తుంది.
నా ఊసులు పంచుకోవాలనిపిస్తుంది.

మది గది తలుపులు
తీయడం ఆలస్యం
తుర్రుమంటుంది.
నాకు దొరకకుండా పారిపోతుంది.
నీ మాట నేను వినను
నా మాటే నువ్వు విను అంటుంది.

ఇప్పుడది కూడా నా పక్షం కాదు!!

What I understood is,
God is visible
to those
who wholeheartedly pray

God answers
to those
who determinedly question

God
who is the Lord-Master
becomes the servant
and work for the tenant

HE grants the boon
as possible as soon.

I, who have many a wish,
decided to pray
to be granted with a boon.

For me,
a girl of fertile imagination,
with many a fascination,
God descended.
“My child,
I can only grant you one.
so think on your own.”

What to ask HIM?
Should I ask about me
or
about my family,
or
to bring equality in the society,
or
to bring equal rights for women,

or
to wish for world peace
where the arms race cease

or
to wish for the world
where women can be respected

or
to wish for the world free of diseases,
or
to wish for good feelings in people
where everyone treats himself as
a world citizen and human.

My thoughts flowed incessantly
while God was watching patiently.

For some time HE kept quiet
to let me think might.
For my difficulty to decide,
God laughed and said,
” Dear, Shall I grant you the best?”
I nodded my head feeling rest.

“I will provide you work
that you love to do,
to which you can gladly ado.
that enables you
to get rid of these thoughts
that puts you in action

With work,
you can achieve
something or other of the list
atleast in fraction
and this is the sanction.”

Religious perversion
leading to mass destruction
Political intervention
with selfish intention,
increasing the contention

Rich countries
exploit the poor
and the poor
exhibit vengeance
for sure

Whatever may be the reason
people fight in each and every season
No region is free from this fission

Blood is flowing like flood
amputed bodies
reputed stories

Religions
that preach peace
act like catalysts
and let the war
never to cease
everywhere malice

These people
will never listen
to good words
You should shut them
with the divine swords

I remind you a lesson,
“Fire in the Forest”,
to teach us all a lesson

Once in a forest,
a violent fire broke out
putting all the animals to test
the lion and the goat,
the dog, the cat and the rat
the tiger and the cow,
the wild and the domestic
who were born enemies
have become allies
they sat side by side,
to seek hide from the fire

In the same way,
you also create
a universal trouble,
so that everyone trembles
acid rains and worst famines
interplanet wars
and incessant fall of celestial parts
to make all of us unite
for the nature’s delight

Marks only can store nothing in mind
Keep subject and something of its kind
Time and Interest are main
Success can get in Bargain

The Plan to do work gives only satisfaction
But the real peace be attained
when the same is put into action

Keep Concentration and Determination
in the Preparation of Examination
Leave the rest
Forget the rest
To build a success nest

So fond a memory

The memories of
Childhood friends
so dear,
everyone loves to cherish
never can they perish
for kids only knew the art
of being pure at heart

Misunderstood Asha, aptly named Madhuri
talkative Sai and tall Madhavi, short kiranmayi
twin pairs Kamakshi and Meenakshi, Salini and Sireesha
squirrel Sailaja and irregular Krishnaveni

Many more
unmentioned,
but not unnoticed,
are the first flowers
in my friendship garden
ever blossoming

Always we play,
often we quarrel
Keen to study,
eager to learn
Active in extracurricular,
everything is particular

I still remember,
everyone of us shouted aloud “Yes”,
when science teacher asked us
“Do you know Sound Sleep?”
Her waves of laughter
drove to shore
when we all replied it
as Snore.

We are
very competitive
to get first
in the Telugu dictation
in the Social class work

We used to
complete homework in intervals
play games in lunch

We are
Suspicious of
everyone and everything
in the month of April,
not to be get fooled

Gone are those days,
but
we aren’t sad
for our roots are with us.

Now,
some are doing jobs,
some are a searching mob
some are married,
some became parents
but still…
when we meet..
we are the same old kids

What if we grow old,
our memories glitter like gold

In the coming years,
all of us may have our own families
but
even if we become grandparents,
We remain…
the same old childhood friends.

You can guess the future
but can’t bless it.
So
Dream the future
Capture the venture.

Do your duty,
if anyone praise, don’t raise, but be wise
if anyone scold, don’t hold, but be cold

If you have any failure, try to secure
don’t regret, but forget

Encourage the soul, to achieve your goal
Giving room to blame, is nothing but shame

Easy to blame,
Difficult to put off the flame
Pour the thoughts which are refined
Move in the principled path predefined
ALWAYS IN ALL WAYS
